Day 35 - Too Long, huh?

Life sure is busy right now.

As I said a while back, I got a job. I haven't been doing much other than that. I go to work. I get back from work and then I'm exhausted.

Since I'm a cashier, you have to know produce. The codes are quite challenging but I'm learning them pretty well. My co-workers are very nice and they have faith that I'll be good after two weeks. :/ So much faith in me and I'm like...I don't know about that.

There is soo much to learn and know. And bagging myself is just challenging but God is with me through it all. Everyday, I'm calling on Him for help. He comes through in soo many ways.

Today, there are a few examples of how He came through for me. I was working the register and getting change for a guy. I think it 17.88 was this man's change but he wanted to give me more money to make it even. It all went soo fast for me him handing it to me and I'm not able to quickly count "what the heck did he just give me" is in my mind. But thank you Lord!! This girl, on another register behind me just so happened to be paying attention. Knew exactly what he was wanting and told me what to do. God is great!!

Another example of how God was with me today was my roll was low on paper. But I didn't know how to change it out cause I forgot and there was another customer. So, I was praying to Him that it would be enough paper to ring her up. And there was enough paper on the receipt roll. I was then able to ask a guy cashier how to help me change it and it all went well.

God never leaves my side. He is just soo awesome!!

Day 24 - EXCITING NEWS

Monday

I had to go to the job I'm applying for and fill out background check info and take a drug test. I was nervous for no reason. I'm just glad it went well in the end.

Later in the day,
My mom got a call from my brother informing her that he got the job!! We were quite happy for him.

Today

About to go to Walmart but my mom and I were hungry so we got some pasta. As I was eating pasta my phone rang... I went over, I still had food in my mouth when I saw the number was from the job I wanted to work at. THEY WERE CALLING ME BACK!!! AHAHAHA I quickly chewed, swallowed and answered the phone. It was the manager.

I GOT HIRED! OH MY GOSH. It's soo unreal. (I'm going to faint. Not really, cause I never do that.)

Anyways, I have to fill out more paperwork. And tell them when I'm available. I'm nervous yet again. I hope that I can learn everything I need to. I'm going to be a cashier, if you didn't know, at a grocery store.

Well, that's about it. Nervous. God's gonna be with me and it will all work out, though.

Day 19 - Happy Fourth!

Yesterday - Fourth of July

First off, I didn't really see any fireworks... Not happy about it. Don't really want to elaborate either.

I did however have fun at my church event. I accomplished some goals for the day:

• Eat at Masala Wok for lunch.
        - It was sooo good you have no idea. 

• Take pictures of random people and the event
        - I took about a hundred so pictures. 

• Go to bed late...
        - That wasn't really a goal but I did kinda go to bed late since the             church party ended at 10pm

I will hopefully be posting another sorta Fourth of July art piece today but I don't know. I do know however that I will be posting some of the pictures from the event on DA.
